Reports from Users of Carao: year 2008 - Part 1

I cannot believe how much better I feel after 2 1/4 bottles , it is like I almost have my life back. ... It is a huge blessing!!!

...I smelled it first and YUCK! But I didn't let that stop me and proceeded to take the fruit right off a spoon and wash it down quickly w/  water. After a bit I realized that it tasted great and didn't need washing down quickly w/  water. Now I just take it off the spoon,  taste it, and enjoy it , YUM!  After the second bottle I began feeling a lot better.  read more »

Reports from Users of Carao: year 2007 - part 2

Miles,  It was good to hear from you.  I will be expecting the  order to arrive soon.  I am doing very well at 89 1/2 years old.   Doctor said I HAD to take iron, but it causes terrible constipation.   Remedy for that said NOT to take iron.  It said magnesium was needed.   So I am back on the carao (still had half a bottle).  Usually take it in  milk, or a topping on ice cream.  But my favorite way is in a  milkshake.  I have grown used to the taste (smell), and  read more »

Thank You for sharing such a wonderful helpful product.  It has made me feel so much better. Soon my hemoglobin will be up over 10 and I can have my surgery without a blood transfusion.  I really enjoy it as a hot chocolate drink.  Thanks so much,  Mary CA 1/2007

(sickle cell anemia letter 1 from Chris 12/2006) For my son (20month-old, but not yet walking) he had one leg swollen around the ankle and the both eyelids were equally swollen, with eye color very yelow with lots of eye secretion when he started to take the syrup (are these possibly side effects?). However, after taking the mixture for 8days now as well as my wife (age 23), his eyelids have gone back to normal,

"I am having tremendous results. I have suffered with extreme blood loss for 8 years and was hospitalized in 1997. I refused a blood transfusion which the doctors insisted I needed. While in the hospital I was injected with epogen once a week for two weeks to add oxygen to what little blood I had to help increase the production of red blood cells. Over the next 7 years I would be plagued with extreme fatigue, severe anemia which kept me extremely cold, and malaise. Also I was prescribed iron which of course left me constipated.  read more »

Carao for Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia (Colombia)

(The following testimonial letter was translated from Spanish.)

As believers in God, we are are sure that Carao was an answer sent by the Lord in response to our prayers.  For more than 2 years, David had been taking Prednizolona, in relatively large doses (up to 20 mg. daily) for a child of his age (4 years) and when the dosage was reduced (following the doctors' instructions) the autoimmune hemolytic anemia reappeared.  On 4 occasions, David required blood transfusions.  read more »

How a 4-year-old Girl Helped Bring Carao Fruit to the World

photo Keisy During 2002, the first year of carao production in Costa Rica, I had a very moving experience with a little girl named Keisy Meléndez.  I would like to share this beautiful story with you.

Keisy Meléndez was born with anemia, from an anemic mother.  By age 3 her anemia had stunted her growth and mental development so much that she looked - and behaved - like a 16-month-old.  Keisy slept almost constantly and could not walk.  read more »

"The Tropical Wonder carao [now Tropical Health Foods carao] did wonders for me and saved me from a blood transfusion.  When I started taking the syrup 6 weeks before giving birth my hemoglobin was 10.4, when it was checked when I was admitted to the hospital it was up to 13!!!  It has never been 13

During labor I lost a lot of blood due to tearing and my hemoglobin after birth was down to 8.  The doctor checked my hemoglobin level 6 weeks later and it was up to 12!  read more »
